So yeah, lots of really cool-looking games are coming! So I thought I'd list them here, since I haven't updated in a while.

DARKSIDERS
X-360/PS3
Release date: January 5

Saw this in a magazine and then looked it up on the net. Turns out it has been in development for quite a long time!! The game is developped by Vigil Games, and based on the Armageddon and the Book of Revelation, which doesn't seem all that original, but the direction they are taking with it is pretty awesome! You play as War, one of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, how cool is that? Fighting both angels and demons on a fiery horse in a gameplay that looks to be a dynamic mix of Zelda, God of War, Devil May Cry.... The designs are detailed and kind of comic-books like, the story seems pretty developped... can't wait!

BAYONETTA
X-360/PS3
Release date: January 5

This one seems to be getting a bit more exposure and hype, well it is a Sega game after all, with people who worked on Devil May Cry, and it shows. That one just looks like a total blast to play, and a real treat to look at. The fighting system is more dynamic, fast paced and over the top than almost anything I've seen, it makes DMC look pretty realistic in comparison. A powerful and witch fighting angels by summoning demons from her hair, throwing them in giant torture devices, slowing time to go in "Witch Mode", and with guns attached to her heels? Yes please. Everything looks stylised and exaggerated, but thats why it's gonna rock.

GOD OF WAR III
PS3
Release date: March

Do I really have to explain that one xD Yeah I know so far it's mostly 3rd person action adventure game but hey, they are making great games in that genre lately. It's also more my kind of thing than... shooters and stuff. So anyway, GoW3. Well the first 2 games almost revolutioned the genre, and this one is gonna be even better for sure! Trailers and videos have looked very promising and they are really putting lots of efforts on this one, and it just LOOKs ... incredible, visually speaking. This is the 300 of video games.
Also deserving mention, the release of God of War Collection for the Ps3, God of War 1 and 2 in one game, and remastered in HD? Pretty great deal if you ask me. Just the warm-up we need before this hits shelves in March.

FINAL FANTASY XIII
PS3/X360
Release date: March 9

Mixed feelings on that one... xD But... it IS a Final Fantasy so... I can't pass it up... I just don't really like the character designs and... various elements so far... THE NAMES, man. Eughhh. Also don't like how they're announcing it like the second coming of Christ. Seriously, the last trailer was so self-indulgent, geez. But seriously though, soundtrack is signed by the same guy who did FFX's, so that's bound to be epic, and the game and FMV look just AMAZING. It's rather hard seeing the difference between cutscenes, in-games, and FMVs nowadays. It's almost scary. So yeah, no choice but to pick that sucker up. Gotta trust the Squeenix.

THE LAST GUARDIAN
PS3
Release date: TBA

That's the real deal baby. There hasn't actually been any news in a while about it, but I don't care. It's still my number one game in waiting. I know this is gonna be more epic than anything before it. When Team Ico gets on something, you know you're in for the biggest emotional and amazing journey ever in a video game. Just wait for this one, people. Just wait.

Other games I want to pick up soon

Soul Calibur 4
Hey, as soon as I got my Ps3. I just have to own it man. I just love Soul Calibur and its characters, altough I think SC2 will always be the best, it'd be nice to explore all the new features.

Tekken 6
That one made us wait a real long time... and sadly, like most fighting games, the upgrade between 2 versions is never THAT big, but I still want to pick it up. Without a doubt the best Tekken yet.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
While I did occasionally play Ninja Gaiden at friends' houses, I never actually owned any of them, and now with the re-release, I think would be a good time to jump into the franchise and make up for the time lost!

Blazblue: Calamity Trigger
Now that I somewhat had my share of Guilty Gear, this is next on my list. I'm sure, the best 2d fighter out there. Looks very polished, very stylised. Really picks my curiosity. Can't be bad after GGX^C.

God of War Collection
Yes.
